Commercial Painting Inc. is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our presence throughout the Bay Area. This highly visible role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with property management companies and commercial real estate professionals, and driving sustainable business growth.
The ideal candidate is comfortable networking, prospecting, and building trusted relationships while identifying opportunities that help property owners protect and improve their commercial assets.
Responsibilities
You'll play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening long-term partnerships by:
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with:
- Property Management Companies
- HOAs
- Apartment Communities
- Commercial Real Estate Firms
- Office Buildings
- Retail Centers
- Industrial Facilities
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, prospecting, and cold outreach.
- Schedule meetings with key decision-makers.
- Present Commercial Painting Inc.'s painting and maintenance services.
- Develop strategies to increase market share throughout the Bay Area.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with property managers, regional managers, facility managers, and asset managers.
- Become a trusted resource for painting, maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
- Conduct regular client visits, follow-up calls, emails, and networking meetings.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience from initial contact through project completion.
Sales Growth
- Maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with our estimating and operations teams to prepare proposals.

Qualifications
We're looking for a motivated professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for business development.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of business development or outside sales experience.
- Experience selling to commercial property management, facility management, construction, or related industries preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and prospecting.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
